IN THE HOUSE OF THE NORTHWEST (6 Metal)
This is the house of harvest, when the rewards of your past plans
and efforts come to you. If the harvest is very satisfying, it
will confirm your previous course of action. If the reward is
meager, it is time to consolidate your efforts and do whatever
you have to, to keep your household in order. Either way, it will
be easier than usual, this month, to maintain a self-sustaining
lifestyle. And, either way, you should keep an active hand on
your workload and other obligations.
This is not a time of great ideas and new inspirations, but it
is an excellent time for deep, orderly thinking. Since your demeanor
is clear and capable, others may seek your advice and, if they
do, you will be able to share some keen and helpful observations.
Your problem solving techniques will be more efficient and more
practical than usual. But, in the extreme, you may behave a little
too mechanically. Guard against becoming too closed minded.
This is a good time to enjoy the fruits of your efforts. Though your workload and other obligations
will be clearly defined, you can
spend some time doing the things you really like to do. Your
enhanced sense of practicality will steer you clear of most unbalanced
situations.
Metal tends to move towards you. From a practical point
of view, that means extra money can come your way. On the other
hand, so could a car, plane or train! So, be careful when traveling.

In addition to your monthly house, above, you now dwell in the house of Karma (5 Soil) for the entire year. The house of 5 Soil is a fascinating house, filled with mystery, intrigue and karmic repercussions. When in this house, it is important to know that the issues and events you will experience are karmic, in nature, and are the direct result of your own past decisions and actions. This year, both positive and negative results will return to you (as you have sown, so shall you reap!). As these events occur, you should take note of them and try to figure out exactly how they are connected with your past. If you are successful, you will learn a great deal about yourself and you will be able to chart a path towards a more prosperous and happy future! Don't be too forceful in this house. This is a very educational time period and it is important that you observe and learn. Possible weakness in the spleen, stomach and, especially, the pancreas. Our 9 Ki publications are designed to make your passage through this house as safe and as informative, as possible.
(Influence of combined Annual, Monthly & Personal Ki) ".... Combined, 5 Soil (karma) and 6 Metal (consolidation) are very powerful. The energy of 5 places you at the center, while people, issues and events approach and revolve around you. The ki of 6 Metal generates very solid, material conditions. So, you must contend with being at the hub, surrounded by genuine opportunities and challenges. It is difficult to break away from the present set of tasks and obligations. Indeed, it is recommended that you remain involved, using your heightened capacity to organize and control. Be watchful as you go. Managing small problems, as they arise, and looking for karmic connections...."
