How to Download eMail Attachments

Our ePublications are TEXT files (.txt). It is important to know that text files are non-executable. They can not contain a virus. In fact, most anti-virus software doesn't even bother to scan text files.

All eMail software is slightly different, but they follow the same, basic standards for saving attachments:

1) You click a button, to save the attachment to your computer.

(For example, America On Line's button says "Download Now")

2) You select the folder that you want to save your file to.

(We advise that you save the file to a folder that is easy to remember, like "My Documents" or "C:")

3) Click the "Save" or "Download" button.

That's all there is to it!
